Become a youth volunteer if you are interested in making a real difference in someone’s life. Whether you’re serving patients in the hospital, helping with activities in a continuing care home, visiting residents/patients and/or supporting staff, your time and energy bring positivity to those in care. This opportunity also supports the Volunteerism 30 high school credit and allows you to enhance your skill set, gain healthcare experience, and build your resume. This Youth-in-Action volunteer program runs from November - May (dates and times are subject to change)

Note: the application process is now open for the 2026-2027 year. If you applied for the 2025-26 year and are on the waiting list for the new year, you do not need to reapply.
We are recruiting students in Grades 9 - 12. Limited spaces available. Shifts are Monday - Thursday 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm.
