(NE4) Prince Albert

Volunteers have been an important part of the pediatric unit for many years. These positions assist in the daily activities and emotional comfort to all of ages of our Pediatric Unit. Volunteers are crucial to help us facilitate the more robust comfort care needs that our patients deserve on a daily basis. There are often many patients who do not have family members with them and are alone. Volunteers help to fill this gap in engagement and promote developmental opportunities through reading, playing, holding, etc. 

Times: 11:00am - 9:00pm Monday through Sunday

Volunteers will be given the opportunity to take extra Patient care specific unit training to help enhance the patient/volunteer care experience.

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
