Team Leader
As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for a team of volunteers and will manage and plan their activities throughout the day. You will be the main point of contact for the Volunteers Managers and be responsible for a smooth-running operation within your area.
Team Leaders can be found in each speaker tent, the Living History areas, the main entry gate, and the Volunteers Tent. There will also be a Team Leader managing the buggies that transport speakers, and guests who need assistance getting around the site.
Team Leader shifts are for a full day (i.e. there are no half-day Team Leader shifts). You are likely to be working in the same area for each day you volunteer with us in order to build familiarity with the role and give consistency for the wider Festival team.
Volunteers who have indicated the greatest availability to work during the Festival and have previously volunteered with us will be given priority for the Team Leader roles.
Experienced volunteers who aim to be a Team Leader in the future, will be offered the opportunity to develop skills by acting as an Assistant Team Leader supporting a Team Leader.
