Speaker Volunteer

Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA) exists so nobody in Scotland suffers or dies because medical help cannot get there in time. People can get sick or have accidents anywhere and anytime. But in Scotland there are places where urgent medical help cannot reach people. Or help gets there too late. And when lives are at risk every minute matters.
Our fundraising volunteers are a vital part of team SCAA, raising life saving funds and awareness in communities all over Scotland.
As a Volunteer Speaker, you’ll inspire and inform local groups about SCAA’s life-saving work. You’ll share our patient stories, answer questions, and show people how they can get involved—whether through fundraising, volunteering, or spreading the word.
What you’ll do
- Share the SCAA story, creating memorable talks to local groups—don’t worry, we’ll provide all the materials you need.
- Inspire others by sharing how they can support our life-saving work and make a real difference in Scotland.
- Use your community connections to help us reach even more people with our message.
- Team up with fellow volunteers or staff to make your talks even more special.
- Banking any donations that groups generously offer.
- Share your ideas and feedback with our fundraising team—we love hearing your thoughts!
The skills you’ll need
- Friendly, enthusiastic, and comfortable speaking to groups.
- Passionate about making a difference in your community.
- Confident with IT. Presenting and using videos.
