The Youth Volunteer role offers meaningful benefits by helping volunteers build communication skills, confidence, empathy, and responsibility while supporting residents, patients, and staff. Volunteers gain early exposure to a healthcare environment, strengthen their resumes, and can earn hours toward the Volunteerism 30 high school credit. Most importantly, they experience the impact of making a real difference in someone’s day and become part of a caring community focused on connection and service.
