Caldwell Nature Center is looking for volunteers to assist with Halloween Hikes! Pick from one of the roles below and make sure you are signed up for the correct shift.

Pumpkin Carvers 10/14 | 4:30pm- 6:30pm

Show off your pumpkin carving stills! We will meet Wednesday evening to gut & carve 100 pumpkins for the trails! Prize for the best Jack-O-Lantern!

Trail Character! 10/16 | 4:30pm- 10:00pm

Need a couple of volunteers to wear a costume and give short education presentation on the trail.

Greeter - In costume! 10/16 | 5:00pm- 9:00pm

Need a couple of volunteers to wear a costume to meet and greet participants before they head on the trail. We need the one wearing the mascot costume and one escorting the character.

Parking Attendants 10/16 & 10/17 | 5:00pm- 9:00pm

Will assist people as they arrive on where to park. How to maximize parking spaces safely and also assist when people leave on how to safely get out. Will work as a team and use radios, etc.

Trail Guides 10/16 | 5:00pm- 10:00pm

We need outgoing volunteers will lead each group through the trail. Must be comfortable giving instructions and engaging community. Each hike is about an hour and possibly leading multiple hikes during the evening. Once hikes end, some trails clean up.

Photo Booth & Event Support 10/16 5:30pm- 9:30pm & 10/17 | 6:30pm- 10pm

Be outgoing and engaging to invite and take pictures of participants (using the guest phones).
