Conservation & Land Stewardship - Volunteer Group Leader Training
Location: TBA (either Civic Garden Center 2715 Reading Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45206 or in field at a Cincinnati Parks location)
12:00 PM to 3:00 PM
Volunteer Group Leader Training is intended to get people to be more comfortable leading their own events and to clearly understand their role during a workday. The training includes best practices for preparing for and running events, how to handle potential conflicts among volunteers, volunteer safety considerations and site hazards, practicing event introductions, and how to teach volunteers plant identification.
Qualifications Required
- Cincinnati Park Board Trained Service Person Must be CPB Trained Service Person
