Participation Details:
- Open to all birding experience levels.
- Suitable for ages 14 and up (those under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian).
Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Birding experience welcomed but not required.
- We make every effort to ensure beginning birders are grouped with those with more experience.
- Volunteers will follow specified routes, noting and counting every bird observed.
Participants need:
- To provide their own transportation throughout the day, traveling to multiple locations.
- Have an interest in local birds or possess a basic understanding of local bird species.
- Be dressed and prepared for any weather conditions; the event occurs rain or shine.
