Krohn Conservatory - Krohn Crafters

Krohn Crafters

The Krohn Crafters design and make beautiful and intricate holiday ornaments, secondary ornaments and wreaths for the holiday tree each year. All ornaments are made with all natural materials. Crafters may also help with additional natural craft decorations for Krohn Conservatory displays.

The primary work space for the crafting sessions is at Bettman Natural Resource Center, but the group does report to Krohn occasionally and of course to trim the tree and to remove the ornaments after the holiday show each year. Attendance at all of the sessions is not required, however, meeting a majority of the sessions is requested.

Requirements:

  • Ability to make Wednesday 9:30-noon sessions twice a month (majority of the time)
  • A minimum of one-year commitment
  • Enjoy crafting activities, and engaging with public on occasional basis
