Horticulture Helpers - French Park Horticulture Assistance

Volunteers are needed to assist horticulture staff with basic public horticultural work. Tasks will include all aspects of outdoor horticulture such as weeding, planting, watering pruning, edging, mulching, litter pick up in planted areas, etc. and can be tailored to the volunteers abilities. 

This opportunity is for volunteers seeking an on-going, consistent work schedule, for example - reporting to the garden every Tuesday from 8am - 10am. It can be any day Mon-Fri and any time between 7 am to 2:00 pm. 

Volunteers should be 16 years of age or older.

Volunteers should wear clothing that they can work comfortably in and that is weather appropriate. It is recommended that you bring a refillable water bottle and work gloves.  Close- toed shoes are required.

French Park - 3012 Section Road, 45237

French Park is a 275-acre regional park in the East District with several miles of hiking trails, creeks, meadows and wooded hillsides, a shelter and a distant view of Cincinnati. The park is in Amberley Village.
