Are you looking for a meaningful way to give back during the summer? Join the NextGen in Action Youth Volunteer Program and help brighten the days of Pasqua Hospital patients. By spending time with patients, assisting with small activities, and offering encouragement, you’ll make a real difference in someone’s hospital experience.

What You'll Do:

• Spend time with patients one-on-one through activities like playing cards, puzzles, word games, or simply visiting

• Help create a welcoming environment with seasonal decorating and small projects on the unit

• Assist with meal setup and clean-up when needed

• Keep shared games and activity equipment clean and ready for use

• Accompany patients on walks around the unit, supporting both ambulatory and wheelchair users

• Offer encouragement, kindness, and positive energy to help support patients’ well-being

Requirements:

• Commitment to one weekly 2.5-hour shift (July 2-August 31)

• Reliability and respect for confidentiality

• Willingness to engage with patients in a supportive, professional manner

• Age requirement: 16–18 years old and enrolled in high school (or just graduated)
