Opportunity for youth volunteers ages 16 and 17  to fill the role of a Playroom Assistant.  This is a unique opportunity for pairs of individuals to volunteer together in our playroom/activity room.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Cleaning and organizing the toys and equipment used by patients

Making puzzles to ensure all pieces are present

Organizing supplies: markers, paints crayons, etc.

Creating a supply list for Child Life Specialist

Accessing toys and supplies for patients

Greeting patients, siblings and families entering the playroom

 

Shifts:  Monday – 4:00-6:00pm

                              6:00-8:00pm

 

               Tuesday – 4:00-6:00pm

                                6:00-8:00pm

 

               Wednesday– 4:00-6:00pm

                                    6:00-8:00pm

 

               Thursday – 4:00-6:00pm

                                  6:00-8:00pm

 

                Friday – 4:00-6:00pm

                              6:00-8:00pm

 

                Saturday and Sunday – 10:00am- 12:00pm

                                                      12:00- 2:00pm

                                                       2:00- 4:00pm

                                                       4:00-6:00pm

                                                       6:00-8:00pm

 

Full training and complimentary parking will be provided.

Immunization screening is required.
