Thousands of families count on SHARE each month for affordable, nutritious groceries that are sold through volunteer-run locations throughout the Washington metropolitan area. SHARE High School Night provides students with the opportunity to volunteer alongside other high school students from schools across the region, build friendships, learn about different schools, and serve the community together. 

Help us prepare for our monthly food distributions by assembling food packages and assuring the accuracy and quality of our food orders. This service activity is specifically designed for high school students in the DMV area. Join us for an experience that is fun and rewarding while making a difference in your community!

Volunteer Qualifications:

• High school students can participate if accompanied by an adult or if they bring a Parent Guardian Waiver.
• Be helpful and cooperative with a calm demeanor
• Be able to follow directions and maintain a safe environment
• Be able to stand for ~3 hours and lift ~20 pounds at a time
• Wear tennis shoes or work boots

• Parking is available at the warehouse, park near the office entrance

Time: 

• 4:30pm-7:30pm on the last Tuesday of every month
