Recital Backstage Attendant

4:30-8:30pm

Please note, a volunteer orientation will be held online 1-2 weeks prior (date TBC). If you are unable to attend you will need to review meeting notes that summarize the orientation. The information must be reviewed prior to the shift on Thursday, June 11^th.

Located in: Burnaby South Secondary School

Description

Assist with our year end dance recital to celebrate the hard work of all our long-term dance programs.  

Shift Information/Responsibilities will include:

- Welcoming dancers to their assigned dressing rooms
- Directing dancers before, during and after the show

-Collecting costumes at the end of recitals from participants

-Engaging with participants when there is down time

-Facilitating activities for the children in the dressing rooms when they are not performing (such as games or colouring) 

- Assist with clean-up

- Please bring a nut-free lunch/ snack and water

Requirements

- 14 years or older
- Friendly & welcoming 
- Experience working with children is an asset
