(SW1) Biggar, Eatonia, Elrose, Eston, Kerrobert, Kindersley and Rosetown

Allows the volunteer to assist the health care team, develop personal growth, meet new people, and provide a feeling of giving back to their community. To support and assist in welcoming patients who use the services in this area of the Kindersley Hospital. 

Volunteers will have a sense of fulfillment and purpose by interacting with members of the community, contributing to the mental, social, emotional, and physical well-being of others within the community.

Volunteer tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to greeting patients as they arrive, directing and helping with the flow of patients, small administrative duties, visiting, handing out a light snack after the patients have returned from their procedures, and notifying the admitting nurse of any patient questions or concerns.

Shifts vary Monday-Friday from 9:00 am-4:00 pm.
