Description
Keeping in touch with the community and the outside world is very important to hospitalized patients. Help them to stay connected and informed by delivering donated newspapers to various patient areas. A good role for those interested in a health care environment and seeing various areas and departments of the hospital. This is an important service to our patients, so we need more help in this large hospital!
Requirements
- -high attention to physical safety of self and others
- -high attention to infection control measures
- -good problem-solving skills
- -comfort level with people from all walks of life
- -able to work independently; self-motivated
- -personable, respectful, conscientious, very reliable
- -able to learn route, retain training information and effectively fulfill duties
- -physically able to safely lift bundles of papers and accurately count papers for distribution
- -physically able to walk distances, while pushing a large cart
- -good English communication skills
- available to train during a weekday morning (Tues-Fri)
