Step 2: Review the volunteer vacancies below, located under Current Opportunities, and select one position that interests you the most. Please click on the “i” icon, next to the position title, to review the position description, requirements, and available shift times. Ensure that the position you select has a schedule that you can commit to for at least eight consecutive months.

Applicant Information
- Have an interview with a Volunteer Resources staff
- Commit to a minimum of 8 months of consecutive service
- Provide professional source References
- Complete a Police Information Check, with Vulnerable Sector Screening (if required)
- Complete a Communicable Disease Assessment form
- Successful applicants will complete an On-line General Orientation, an On-line Site Orientation and Training.
It takes approximately 6-8 weeks for a successful applicant to complete all requirements and begin volunteering.
Skill requirements are based on position. Additional training is required.
