If you think that volunteering with the Royal Alexandra Hospital (RAH) is right for you and you are ready to get started, just follow these simple steps:

Step 2: Review the volunteer vacancies below, located under Current Opportunities, and select one position that interests you the most. Ensure that the position you select has a schedule that you can commit to for at least eight consecutive months.

Step 4: Read the information below so that you know how to prepare for your interview appointment.
- Have an interview with a Volunteer Resources staff
- Commit to a minimum of 8 months of consecutive service
- Provide professional source References
- Complete a Police Information Check, with Vulnerable Sector Screening (if required)
- Complete a Communicable Disease Assessment form
- Successful applicants will complete an On-line General Orientation, an On-line Site Orientation and Training.
It takes approximately 6-8 weeks for a successful applicant to complete all requirements and begin volunteering.
Skill requirements are based on position. Additional training is required.
