Site Greeter/Navigator - Diagnostic Imaging, Meet and Greet
Description
The volunteer will provide hospitality service for patients, families and visitors, as well as staff assistance. Providing a warm welcome, directions and/or assistance to Diagnostic Imaging areas will lessen the anxiety that patients, families and visitors may have upon arrival. This is a good role for those interested in Xray, MRI, CT scan and other imaging fields of medicine.
Requirements
- enjoy working early morning hours
- friendly, reliable, tactful
- good English communication skills
- physically able to walk or stand for long periods
- physically able to push patients in wheelchairs for short distances
- team player and able to work independently
- non-judgmental, flexible, self-initiative, patient
- well groomed
