Graphic Designer

Role Description:

PMI-LA Chapter is seeking a creative graphic designer with a passion for project management to join our Marketing team. This person will create PMI approved graphic designs for our digital media campaigns. If you have a keen eye for design, a flair for creativity and a knack for visual storytelling, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Create engaging designs/templates for digital materials including website, newsletter and Social Media platforms.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop visual concepts.
  • Ensure PMI approved brand consistency across all design templates.
  • Deliver high-quality designs.
  • Coordinate with Social Media team on what needs to be posted and in what order to ensure vibrant changing content.
  • Attend weekly marketing meetings (online).

Monthly (Periodically):

  • Meet with VP to ensure that designs are being developed in-line with the Chapter and PMI expectations.
  • Chapter & BoD reporting, communication, and escalations (as requested).
  • Metrics and benchmarking – Consolidated status report of all campaigns.

 

General:

  • Volunteer can be remote.

 

Skills required:

  • Proficient in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva)
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the Marketing Team.
  • Knowledge of design principles and trends.
  • Ability to ensure campaign tasks are handled on a timely basis.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, self-starter environment.
  • Knowledge of PMI brand guidelines is a plus.

 

Expected Level of Effort:

  • Minimum 1-2 hours per week – with additional time as needed.
