VOLUNTEER OPENINGS - PROG: Coordinator of Mult-Chapter & Morning Meetings
Position: Coordinator of Multi-Chapter & Morning Meetings
(Chief Organizer of “Yes, This Meeting Was Actually Worth It.”)
Every great event looks effortless because someone behind the scenes made it that way.
We’re looking for a Coordinator of Multi-Chapter & Morning Meetings, someone who enjoys collaboration, thrives in an organized chaos, and is flexible in working mornings, evenings, or afternoons.
You’ll work alongside Morning Meetings and Multi-Chapter Directors to help design, coordinate, and deliver value-driven events. Translation: you help turn good ideas into experiences people remember and earn PDUs doing it.
If you have a few hours each week and want to learn how programs work, this is your chance to make a difference.
Weekly Prep (2-3 hours per week)
· Partner with the Director of Speaker Engagement and Director of Business Analysis & Value Developer to secure speakers and gather the essentials, topic summaries, learning objectives, bios, and all the things PMI loves.
· Post events into ready-made templates.
· Share marketing posts within your network and help expand the PMI-LA ripple effect.
Before the Meeting
· Grab the latest scrolling presentation from O365 Teams → All Volunteers → Scrolling Presentations.
· Update the opening slide with industry-specific event info.
· Send friendly reminder emails to attendees about 24 hours before the event.
During the Meeting
· Download the attendance list
· Run the scrolling presentation and highlight upcoming PMI-LA events.
· Introduce the speaker like the pro you are.
After the Meeting
· Update attendance on the website and export the CSV.
· Fill in missing PMI numbers, verify attendance and send attendance rosters to either the Director of Multi Chapter or Evenings
Skills required:
· A self-starter who can adapt when plans shift
· Comfortable with O365 Teams and Trello.
