Associate Vice President (AVP) of Membership
Summary: Support VP of Membership with all ongoing operations of the Membership department
Duties:
- Assume duties of the VP of Membership as required, excluding Board of Director voting privileges, at BoD Meetings and other activities & events, should the VP of Membership not be available
- Monitor activities of the department and prepare reporting for VP of Membership
- Act as a point of escalation for team directors as needed
- Attend PMI-LA events and engage with its members and volunteers
- Develop an overall understanding of all the functions of the Membership department in order to accurately assist the VP of Membership in overseeing the Membership volunteer team as needed, and to prepare to step up to the VP of Membership position in the future
Estimated time Commitment:
- Approximately 5 hours per week, mostly remote but including 2 to 3 hours per month in person attendance at chapter events
