Community Support Worker
The Community Support Worker Volunteer provides high quality information, support and referral services, and emergency relief to clients in a confidential and impartial manner, enabling clients to make their own decisions and choices.
Volunteers are provided training through CisVic and onsite mentoring to equip them with knowledge and skills to:
- work with people experiencing personal and financial hardship,
- assess the diverse and multi-faceted needs of people accessing our services; and
- determine the appropriate response required to meet those needs.
