San Dieguito County Park

Greetings 😊 I hope all is well with you.

My name is Alejandro Santos. I am a Park Ranger at San Dieguito County Park, located on the borders of Solana Beach and Rancho Santa Fe.

We facilitate groups and individuals who want to volunteer doing physical manual work outdoors. Most activities vary from weed and invasive plant removal, trail maintenance, painting projects, to general park cleaning and beautification. We advise you wear close-toe sturdy shoes, work gloves, clothes you are willing to get dirty, sun hat/sunscreen, sunglasses. Bring snack and drinking water.

I am certain we will find meaningful projects you can work on, and the park will surely benefit from your involvement.

Please let me know if you are interested in volunteering at San Dieguito County Park (what days and times), and we will work together to make sure everything progresses smoothly.

Park staff are available 8:30AM-5:00PM. Park gates open at 9:30AM. If you decide to work before park opens, park outside and walk to the ranger office near Area 4.
