Divisional Headquarters Front Desk Help - DHQ Front Desk Help

We’re seeking a skilled and friendly volunteer with Front Office or Reception experience to join The Salvation Army. As the first point of contact for our staff and visitors, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment and providing excellent customer service.

Primary Responsibilities

Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate staff member or department

Greet visitors and provide helpful, courteous assistance

Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages

Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and the ability to follow instructions

Communicate clearly and fluently in English

 

Schedule

Monday–Friday

10:00 AM–2:30 PM

Background Check & Safe From Harm Requirement

All volunteers with front‑office responsibilities are required to complete and pass a background check before beginning service. This is part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.

Qualifications Required

  • Background Check
  • Age Category Must be at least 18 or older
  • Safe From Harm Training Must be at least Basic: Modules 1 - 4
