Divisional Headquarters Front Desk Help - DHQ Front Desk Help
We’re seeking a skilled and friendly volunteer with Front Office or Reception experience to join The Salvation Army. As the first point of contact for our staff and visitors, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment and providing excellent customer service.
Primary Responsibilities
• Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate staff member or department
• Greet visitors and provide helpful, courteous assistance
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
• Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and the ability to follow instructions
• Communicate clearly and fluently in English
Schedule
Monday–Friday
10:00 AM–2:30 PM

Background Check & Safe From Harm Requirement
All volunteers with front‑office responsibilities are required to complete and pass a background check before beginning service. This is part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.
Qualifications Required
- Background Check
- Age Category Must be at least 18 or older
- Safe From Harm Training Must be at least Basic: Modules 1 - 4
