Manuscript Writing and Co-authorship with Patient Research Partners
There is an ethical imperative to include patient research partners in the publication of the work they have collaborated on. This session will provide a foundational understanding of the publication process including choosing a journal, authorship criteria, writing, editing, submission, and publication processes. We will also work through some challenges and possible solutions that might arise when joining manuscript writing teams as patient partner co-authors.
