Victory Pontoon Assistant
Purpose of Role:
The Pontoon Assistant is a voluntary position that assists with boat holding at victory ceremonies and ensures smooth rotation of boats approaching and leaving the victory pontoon area.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Ensure boats at the victory and finish pontoon are held securely.
- Ensuring boats enter and depart the victory ceremony in a safe and
- orderly fashion.
- Support the Ceremonies Coordinator in any other way required.
- complete a minimum of 2 shifts during the event
Note: The Pontoon Assistant must have a knowledge of the safe handling of rowing boats, be nimble and be prepared for lots of bending.
