Engagement Activity - Reed planting at Low Wray campsite
Join us at Low Wray campsite on the shoes of Windermere for some reed planting on Monday 27th July.
Reedbeds around lake Windermere has declined by 90% since 1870 and we are on a mission to restore them! They are fantastic habitat for a range of species because they are great 'reedy zones' between water and land.
Join us to plant reeds and watch as the rhizomes spread over the coming months. All you need to do is sign up!
