Fostering is one of the most meaningful ways to change an animal’s life. When you open your home to an animal in need, you give them comfort, safety, and the chance to heal, grow, and prepare for their forever family. Whether caring for kittens too young for adoption, supporting animals recovering from surgery, or providing a quiet space for those feeling overwhelmed in the shelter, foster carers play an essential role in saving lives. Our Foster Care Program is designed to keep more animals safe, healthy, and supported, offering flexible opportunities for people of all lifestyles. AWLQ provides all food, bedding, supplies, and veterinary care; you provide the love. With every foster placement, you help reduce pressure on our rehoming centres, create vital space for incoming animals, and give vulnerable pets the personalised care they need to thrive. Becoming a foster carer means becoming part of a compassionate community dedicated to giving every animal the second chance they deserve. |
