WAREHOUSE (W)
The warehouse is the centre of our organisation. It is where all the food comes to, gets sorted then is distributed out from.
Some of the roles in this area are:
- Sorting fruit & vegetables to make ready for distribution
- Picking & packing of stock to make orders for distribution
- Loading and unloading stock into the coolrooms/freezer/dry store areas
- Shift Coordinator - leading the team of volunteers to complete the tasks during a shift
- Volunteer Coordination - Assisting with ensuring our shifts have enough volunteers to complete their tasks
- OH&S - Supporting the organisation to ensure we operate in a safe, healthy & inclusive manner
