Van Driver Assistant for Food Rescuing or Deliveries
Do you like working as part of a small team and meeting new people along the way? Do you have a passion for preventing food waste?
You will be responsible for assisting the van drivers with the tasks of the shift, whilst being the friendly face of Bendigo Foodshare.
These roles involve:
- Our delivery assistant will help the delivery driver to get the food to our partner organisations on time, as well as assisting with phone calls, paperwork and navigation throughout the journey. These deliveries may be within Bendigo or Central Victoria.
or
- Our food rescue assistant will help the driver to collect, sort and load the rescued food into our van at our local supermarkets and businesses throughout Bendigo and Central Victoria. Assisting with paperwork, phone calls and navigation throughout the route, with a few food drop offs thrown in along the way.
