Ticket Scanner Volunteer - Position Description
Role:
The Ticket Scanner Volunteer is responsible for courteously and efficiently responding to the requirements of patrons attending performances the FirstOntario Arts Centre Milton (FOACM). The Ticket Scanner accepts and verifies tickets for patrons as they enter the theatre for a performance.
Time Commitment:
- Volunteer minimum two (2) shifts per month
- Arrive on site 60 minutes prior to curtain, or as scheduled
Responsibilities:
- Report to volunteer room and check-in with the Duty Supervisor
- Attend pre-show meeting
- Ensure awareness of location at which to be stationed
- Scan tickets
- Notify the Duty Supervisor to escalate, when tickets do not scan properly
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Must meet requirements of the Town of Milton volunteer program
