Coat Check Volunteer - Position Description
Role:
To courteously and efficiently check patrons’ coats, hats and other belongings at the FirstOntario Arts Centre Milton (FOACM); and to return them at the end of a performance. The number of coat checkers scheduled will depend on the number of patrons expected, as well as the weather.
Time Commitment:
- Volunteer two shifts per month
- Required on site 75 minutes prior to curtain, or as scheduled
Responsibilities:
- Ensure coat room is organized
- Checking patron’s coats and belongings and return them at the end of the performance
- Distribute hearing assisted devices and booster seats upon request and collect at the end of the performance
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Must be a minimum 16 years of age
- Must meet requirements of Community Services volunteer program
