Host Volunteer - Position Description
Role:
The Host Volunteer is responsible for greeting patrons, helping direct patrons to areas within the theatre and answering general questions about the FirstOntario Arts Centre Milton (FOACM).
Time Commitment:
- Volunteer a minimum of two (2) shifts per month
- Arrive on site 60 minutes prior to curtain, or as scheduled
Responsibilities:
- Report to volunteer room and check-in with the Duty Supervisor
- Attend pre-show meeting
- Be aware of what activities are taking place within the facility for the specified timeframe
- Ensure awareness of location at which to be stationed to greet patrons
- Assist patrons with inquiries
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Must meet requirements of the Town of Milton volunteer program
