Usher Volunteer - Position Description
Role:
The Usher Volunteer is responsible for courteously and efficiently responding to the requirements of patrons attending the FirstOntario Arts Centre Milton (FOACM) for ticketed events, and assisting patrons to their designated seats safely.
Time Commitment:
- Volunteer a minimum of two (2) shifts per month
- Arrive on site 60 minutes prior to curtain, or as scheduled
Responsibilities:
- Report to volunteer room and check-in with the Duty Supervisor
- Attend pre-show meeting
- Ensure awareness of location at which to be stationed
- Assist patrons who require assistance to their seats
- Assist with clean-up of the theatre area
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Must meet requirements of the Town of Milton volunteer program
