Party in the Square - Face Painting Attendant
May Days is celebrating 103rd years! Join us for the Party in the Square, featuring live entertainment, a May Days Market featuring local businesses and artisans, a Community Safety Fair, interactive art activities, beverage garden, food trucks, games and more!
Volunteers are wanted for a variety of roles, including helping Recreation Leaders with face painting and a variety of other art activities.
Date: Monday, May 4, 2026
Time: 4:00pm - 5:00pm
Location: Small Multipurpose Room, Port Coquitlam Community Centre (PCCC) - 2150 Wilson Avenue
Specific volunteer duties will include: Learn about the face painting designs we will be offering at the May Day Party in the Square, and practice doing these as a team! This opportunity is only for those who have already signed up and been assigned as a Face Painting Attendant for the May Day Party in the Square.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 14 years of age
• Experience working with children (variety of ages)
• Knowledge of children’s games and activities
• Comfortable interacting with the public
• Fluent in spoken English (fluency in a second language is an asset)
