Castle Park - Face Painting Practice Session
Port Coquitlam’s annual Canada Day event is returning for 2026! Everyone is invited to come together for a picnic in the park with live entertainment at Castle Park. Enjoy family-friendly games and festivities, a beverage garden, food trucks and more.
Volunteers are wanted for a variety of roles, including helping Recreation Leaders with face painting and a variety of other art activities.
Date: Monday, June 22nd, 2026
Time: 4:00pm - 5:00pm
Location: Small Multi-Purpose Room, Port Coquitlam Community Centre (PCCC) - 2150 Wilson Avenue
Specific volunteer duties will include: Learn about the face painting designs we will be offering at the City's Canada Day Celebration, and practice doing these as a team! This opportunity is only for those who have already signed up and been assigned as a Face Painting Attendant for Canada Day Event.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 14 years of age
• Experience working with children (variety of ages)
• Knowledge of children’s games and activities
• Comfortable interacting with the public
• Fluent in spoken English (fluency in a second language is an asset)
