Samaritan

Visit hospice patients once a week for approximately 2-4 hours in their own homes or long-term care communities.

Provide caregiver relief and encouragement and patients a caring presence and companionship. Engage in activities like watching tv, listening to music, sharing stories, reading, playing games, running light errands, preparing light meals. No hands on care provided by the volunteer.
