- Begin to bring residents down to the event. Please refer to the sheet provided by the Recreation staff that lists all the units with the residents’ name who come down for Pub Nite. Kindly indicate which unit you will be going to by printing your name beside that unit to avoid staff and volunteers going to the same unit.

- Residents, who utilize wheelchairs, must have their footrests on, before leaving the unit. Please ask a staff member for assistance, if necessary.
- Please ensure each resident is signed out on the sign-in/sign-out sheet located at each nursing station. Please include your name as the person responsible.
- At the entrance to the Pub Night, there is an attendance sheet; please write down the resident’s name and their unit on this sheet.
-
Once the program has begun and all the residents have been brought down, please sit with the residents and make yourself available to the residents. Encourage active participation by clapping along to the music.
- Volunteers are asked to stay at the Pub night for the duration of the program as staff may require assistance during the event.
- Once the entertainment has finished, volunteers will assist residents back to their units. Please notify nursing staff that the resident is back, and ensure that you sign the resident in, on the sign out sheet at the nursing desk.
