Open Space - Weed Warriors
Weed Warriors is a program where participants work together to selectively remove invasive plant species, and thus improve the ability for native species to compete with their non-native visitors. When attending a weed-pulling event, please wear sturdy hiking shoes, be prepared for walking on uneven terrain, and pulling some weeds. Garden gloves, appropriate outerwear, and water are recommended for all field activities. Locations are TBD and will updated weekly.
