Purpose of the Role
Lawn Attendants help maintain a clean, welcoming, and organized concession area for patrons. This role supports staff by assisting with patron flow, maintaining seating and condiment areas, and ensuring the lower lawn area remains tidy and inviting.
Essential Responsibilities
- Greet patrons in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Help direct patrons to shorter lines when possible
- Answer basic questions about concession offerings and locations
- Wipe down condiment stations as needed
- Wipe down picnic tables and seating areas as needed
- Pick up stray garbage
- Assist in keeping the Lawn clean and organized

- Friendly, approachable, and professional
- Comfortable interacting with patrons and answering basic questions
- Observant and attentive to cleanliness
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to assist where needed
Qualifications
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 4 hours) in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 10 lbs
- Ability to bend or use provided tools to pick up stray garbage
- Ability to work with provided cleaning products
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with volunteers and staff
Training and Support
Volunteers serving in this role are required to complete onboarding and training that may include:
- Virtual & In Person Training Session(s)
- On-the-Job Training
