Welcome to Aurora Healing and Advocacy Services!

Aurora Healing & Advocacy Services (AHAS) provides support to survivors of sexual and domestic violence and utilizes volunteers to answer our 24/7 confidential hotline. This is an onsite position with flexible hours. More information on our hotline position can be found by clicking on the "office support/administrative" link below. Your volunteer participation will make a difference for our patients and care teams.

We offer emergency care, counseling, emotional support and forensic nursing. Our providers work together to help survivors receive the individualized care and services they need to feel whole again. Current Volunteer Opportunities

Office Support/Administrative

The Hotline Volunteer is responsible for responding to the 24 hour crisis hotline and the chat and text line. Volunteers are expected to assess and address the needs of the caller by providing information and referrals, emotional support, and crisis intervention. Other office support duties are assigned as needed.
