Library - North University

The North University Community Library is looking for LEGO Builders Club Game Leader to introduce young library patrons to create builds while interacting with others and making friends. Encourage participants to develop their creativity and imagination.

Availability: Tuesday, 3:30 p.m.- 4:30 p.m. & time before and after program to complete responsibilities

*A 6-month continuous commitment is required.

Responsibilities:

• Take out LEGO and organize LEGO. Distribute LEGO bricks to participants.
• Interact with builders.
• With library staff, they set guidelines for participants.
• Dismantle previous builds before each new session.
• Display builds after LEGO program in children’s area display case.
• Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all participants.
• Set up and break-down tables.

Qualifications:

• 16+ years old
• Ability to communicate with a diverse population.
• Background check and Mandated Reporter Training for Age 16+ volunteers.
• Reference checks.
