Opportunity Starts Here
Volunteer opportunities positively impact neighborhoods and public areas; they improve relationships and create connections between community members to increase quality of life for San Diegans. Join the thousands of City volunteers who assist the City's workforce to enhance services to the public by performing tasks beyond the capacity and scope of current City employees. Volunteers support special populations; help with the success of various environmental, library, neighborhood youth and adult programs and assist with parks and beach beautification projects. They assist employees to build safe, healthy, beautiful communities. Volunteer Opportunities are one-time events, short or long term opportunities.
