Homework Club Volunteer
Homework Club Volunteers will provide support to students within the program by supporting students in completing any set homework tasks and improving their academic outcomes. Suitable for 18 years of age plus.
This could be the volunteer role for you.
Additionally, the role will assist staff in implementing and operating the Homework Club throughout the session.
During school terms only, location:
- Broadmeadows on Tuesdays and Wednesday afternoons 4pm – 6pm

TASKS include:
• To assist students with set homework they bring.
• To assist students and Homework Club Officers with educational activities as outlined
• To provide feedback to the Homework Club Officer regarding progress of students.
• To assist with any administrative tasks as required e.g. record keeping, attendance etc.
SKILLS OR EXPEREINCES NEEDED:
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to work with people from diverse backgrounds, ages, skills and abilities.
• The ability to operate with minimal supervision.
• The ability and desire to work within a team environment.
Requirements:
- Be 18 years of age and over
- Police check (we cover the cost of this)
- Current working with children check card with our organisation successfully added to your card.
