About the Opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity for people to join our passionate team of volunteers to assist vulnerable clients through our Emergency Relief program at St Albans. Emergency Relief Team Members assist with the packing and distribution of food, initial eligibility interviews, entry of client data, general operations of the program and maintaining the work environment.
About you
We're looking for motivated people committed to supporting and improving the lives of vulnerable people in the community. If you are good communicator with good interpersonal skills and have regular ongoing availability and has a positive can-do attitude, we would like to hear from you. An understanding of empathy, the ability to build rapport and being a team player are critical in this role.
Knowledge and understanding of the factors impacting on the well being of individuals, families and communities and experience working with families from diverse cultural backgrounds is highly valued.
