Melbourne AMEP Volunteer Tutor Information Sessions

The Melbourne AMEP Volunteer Tutor Scheme (VTS) is recruiting volunteers to support learners from migrant and refugee backgrounds to learn and practise English.
Volunteers help new arrivals reach personal goals, such as gaining confidence with conversational English, accessing local services, learning more about life in Australia, and working towards further study or employment. Importantly, volunteers offer a connection to community.
Anyone can become a VTS Volunteer Tutor. Free training and ongoing support are provided, and all you need to offer is 1-2 hours of your time each week. Tutoring can be offered in person or online at a mutually convenient time.
The VTS will be running Information Sessions online and in person.
Please refer to the attached flyer for upcoming session dates and details. To register for an Information Session, scan the QR code on the flyer.
