About the Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity for people to join our passionate team of volunteers to provide informal computer tutoring to our clients learning new computer skills. Team Members are required for 4 hours per week to provide individualised support to people seeking asylum who have different levels of computer literacy.

 

About you

We're looking for motivated people who are committed to supporting and improving the lives of people seeking asylum in Australia. If you are passionate about social and human rights issues, have sound IT knowledge and skills, have the ability to commit to 4 hours per week, matched by your positive can-do attitude, we would like to hear from you. An understanding of empathy, the ability to build rapport and being a team player are critical in this role. 

 

Knowledge and understanding of the factors impacting on the wellbeing of individuals, families and communities and experience working with families from diverse cultural backgrounds is highly valued.
