2-3 days Website Developer Experience


We are looking for a highly organised Website Developer with a can do attitude and mature approach, willing to own this role reporting to the Operations Manager. We are a not for Profit Organisation providing relief to the vulnerable and the distressed in the society, migrants as well as seniors and the kids not only to bridge the digital divide but most importantly to ensure their independence. We also provide holistic support the people at risk of homelessness and the unemployed. We are looking to engage an experienced person to own this role on a voluntary basis whiles touching the lives of these people in a compassionate manner.

This is an excellent role for someone who enjoys working within a small friendly team. You must be able to work unsupervised with autonomy, using your own initiative. In exchange you will be treated as a valued member, well respected, working with a relaxed professional team

Skills required:

Must have current experience in Web (HTML5, CSS3 & JavaScript) and want to work with creative people who have the same passion then this is a great opportunity to be part. We're looking for a front-end product designer who wants to be involved in the product development process from idea conception, research and wire framing, to visual execution, marketing, and development support.

You will partner closely with our IT manager and the rest of the team to create an amazing mobile and web experiences for our clients.

Responsibilities

Collaboratively work with development and marketing teams.

Be happy to take ownership of producing sketches, wireframes and building interactive prototypes.

Design visualisations and analytics to make complex ideas clear and intuitive.

Build a beautiful responsive websites that works cross-browser and cross-device.

Participate in the continuous improvement of our front-end infrastructure

Learn and contribute through regular design meetings and critiques

Utilise best practice

 

Qualifications

2 years experience in website design

Strong HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript

Strong wordpress and Joomla skills

Exceptional design skills and a master in Photoshop

Good working knowledge across the whole Adobe Creative Suite

A cool portfolio including graphic and web design you've done (Not essential)

Self motivated and can work independently Experience in eDMs, posters, flyers or banner design is a huge plus
