Deliver meals assistant
Would you like to help support our eligible elderly & people with disabilities to deliver prepared meals in Hume City. You will be assisting our staff drivers in collecting the food eskys and help monitor our client's wellbeing.
Weekdays - one shift per available, 8.45am start - finish 1pm on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays
Volunteers Task:
- Physical ability to carry out tasks as listed in this position description.
- An understanding of and an ability to communicate sensitively with older people and people with disabilities
- Undertake basic administrative tasks as required
- Respect for culturally and ethnic diverse clients
- Actively listen and communicate openly with others
- Actively participate and contribute to the team

Requirements:
- Successful interview and Police Check is required (we cover the cost),
- Good communications skills- proficiency in English language, bilingual desirable
- Working with Children Check card with successfully organisation added to the card. (All volunteers need to have a current Working with Children Check before commencing, applications are free of charge for volunteers.
- Desirable - Level 2 First Aid certificate.
