Seeking a Secertary for Sunbury Cemetery Advisory Committee
The Friends of Sunbury Cemetery Advisory Committee meet every three months.
The purpose of the Committee is to add value to the operations of the Sunbury Cemetery Trust by:
- assisting in the physical development of the Sunbury Cemetery;
- assisting in the maintenance of the Sunbury Cemetery (for example, through working bees);
- advising/liaising regarding day to day maintenance issues;
- advising the Sunbury Cemetery Trust on the development and maintenance of the Sunbury Public Cemetery.
The Committee Secretary is responsible for the following tasks:
- preparing and distributing meeting agendas and minutes;
- attending committee meetings to take minutes;
- undertaking actions voted on at committee meetings (for example, sending correspondence);
- notifying committee members of upcoming meetings dates, and if required booking the meeting venue and arranging catering.
The successful applicant would also be welcome to join the Committee as a member if they wished.
